Searching about for a little background on GATT (General Agreement on Trade and Tariffs) board and I find they have morphed into the WTO (World Trade Organization) as of 1995. Guess I'm a little behind the times hehe. Since the metamorphasis I'm not impressed at all with their track record and am having my doubts regarding Canada's chances of getting this tariff recinded.

Canada retialiates to the US lumber tariff... Ohhh we impose a whopping 71% anti-dumping tariff on US tomato's... I'd laugh if it wasn't so bloody alarming. Canada cannot afford to start a trade war with it's largest trading partner. I wonder what the value of Canadian imported tomatos is? 10Mill? 50Mill... nothing like the 1 billion Lumber industry though.
